Review by hotel critic
At Madama Hostel & Bistrot, the delightful fusion of a vibrant hostel and inviting bistro creates a unique atmosphere that truly captures the essence of Milan. The staff, comprised of passionate young entrepreneurs, ensured that our stay was not just comfortable, but also an engaging experience with their friendly demeanor and attentive service. I particularly appreciated the modern yet cozy design of the spaces, alongside thoughtful features like private baths with hot water, and individual lockers equipped with charging ports. As a solo architect exploring the city, the social vibe encouraged interactions with fellow travelers and established connections with locals, making our time there feel enriching. The inclusivity of the menu, catering to vegetarians and vegans alike, alongside the delicious complimentary breakfast of homemade sweets, made each morning a treat to look forward to. Madama's commitment to sustainability was also refreshing, as they embraced eco-friendly practices throughout the hostel. In all, Madama Hostel & Bistrot stands out as a must-visit for both architecture enthusiasts and those seeking a warm, communal atmosphere in Milan.
